NASA's Alaska Satellite Facility Distributed Active Archive Center (ASF DAAC) has rolled out the first tool in its planned Advanced Products Toolbox for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data with a single-command Radiometrically Terrain-Correct (RTC) tool. This tool will allow easy RTC processing of SAR data in unlimited quantities, and includes an easy Docker install, with no requirement for additional software or libraries to be downloaded and configured. Key features of the tool include: 1) Single command processing 2) Default settings for the RTC product are pre-selected for a standard product, and 3) Options are available for adding ancillary files such as layover shadow mask and inclination maps. Additional planned tools are: Interferometery, Subsetting, Change Detection, and Time Series. User feedback is solicited to understand and respond to actual user needs and desired features. This information is paramount in driving development for this tool box. Join us to see the tool demo and provide your input.
