Image of tule fog in the Central Valley of California acquired on 20 December 2020. The photo-like, true color corrected reflectance image was captured by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), aboard NASA's Terra satellite. The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for parts of the Central Valley until 1pm PT, 21 December 2020 with visibilities ranging from one quarter mile to zero feet.
